Travel & Unusual tours!

I recently became an affiliate with Viator, which means if you click on the Viator symbol on the front page and book something, I may make a dollar or two. But one of the reasons, I have become an affiliate with Viator is because I have used their tours all over the world and I am very impressed with them. Below, I have found some interesting tours for you to think about at worldwide destinations and maybe plan something around these.

Typically, I use Viator for the Hop On Hop Off Bus more than anything, but I have used them for other tours. One of the tours we were on was a 2-day in St. Petersburg, Russia. We were traveling on a Spanish Cruise Ship and they weren't offering English speaking tours in St. Petersburg, if they had, we probably would have booked it with them. But they didn't and we ended up doing this fantastic 2-day tour. There were only 8 of us, so we had a spacious private van and a very knowledgeable tour guide. We never waited in line for anything. We had so much fun. Yvonne P, one of my friends made a point of asking our tour guide, every political question she could think of. The poor tour guide couldn't answer any of them, because she didn't want to get in trouble. Life is not easy in Russia.

This above picture is actually a tour I have scheduled in Dublin, Ireland for my trip Jan 11-16, that I have purchased for my group. It is Dublin Haunted City Game & Walking Tour. We will go on quests via an app on my phone and every time we unlock the ghost story associated with the location, it will unlock the next stop. Doesn't it sound like fun!

And the best part it was on sale, so I got it for half price.

Go on a quest around the haunted parts of Dublin by solving clues that will unlock haunted stories. Follow clear directions so that you won't need a guide, just your phone. Start and stop whenever you want.

+ Discover the most haunted streets, villas, and squares in the city + Find out the horror stories of the people who used to live there + Solve clues on your phone while you visit the haunted Dublin

You are invited to discover the captive souls, the spirits and the mysterious skeletons of Dublin with an interactive city exploration app. You will be guided step-by-step to the cursed buildings where they carry out their eternal punishments while you learn all of their stories.

Each clue will lead you from one place to another, giving you exact directions, so you won’t need a map, a GPS or a guide. When you solve it and guess the answer, the secret story of that place is unlocked.

Along the way, you’ll find horror stories that will give you the chills.
