Day 14-Last Day at Sea
Remember the nuclear plant disaster in Fukushima Daiichi, well we sailed by it today. We were told the radioactive material is still leaking everywhere. I was supraised to see another boat docked not far from the area of contamination.
All tours to Mt. Fuji and Hiroshima have been cancelled due to the eruption of the Salkurajiima Volcano above on September 15, 2019. It must be in the direction of where they are driving.
Good news-It has been a glorious day, warm and sunny. I have accomplished very little. Perfect day. Late breakfast, late lunch and lots of conversation with fellow cruisers.
Today, Celebrity went all out with the buffet displays.
